Cookies

We use cookies on our site. These are small files that are automatically created by your browser and stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our site. Cookies do not harm your device, do not contain viruses, trojans, or other malware.

The cookie stores information generated in connection with the specific device used. This does not mean, however, that we immediately become aware of your identity.

The use of cookies serves to make the use of our offer more enjoyable for you. We use so-called session cookies to recognize that you have already visited individual pages of our website. These are automatically deleted after you leave our site.

In addition, we use temporary cookies, which are stored on your device for a certain fixed period, to optimize user-friendliness. If you visit our site again, it will automatically recognize that you have been here before and remember the inputs and settings you have made, so you do not have to enter them again.

We also use cookies to record the use of our website statistically and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our offer for you (see section 5). These cookies allow us to recognize automatically that you have been to our site before. These cookies are deleted after a defined period.

The data processed by cookies is necessary for the purposes mentioned to protect our legitimate interests and those of third parties pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

You can configure your browser to refuse third-party cookies or all cookies. However, please note that you may not be able to use all functions of this website if you do so.

Use of Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console

To tailor our pages to meet user needs and continuously optimize them, we use Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console, web analysis services provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). In this context, pseudonymized usage profiles are created and cookies are used (see section 4). The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website, such as

  • Browser type/version,
  • Operating system used,
  • Referrer URL (the page previously visited),
  • Hostname of the accessing computer (IP address),
  • Time of the server request,

is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The information is used to evaluate the use of the website, compile reports on website activities, and provide other services related to website usage and internet usage for the purposes of market research and tailor the design of these internet pages to meet needs. This information may also be transferred to third parties if required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google. In no case will your IP address be merged with other data from Google. IP addresses are anonymized so that an assignment is not possible (IP masking).

You can prevent the installation of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that if you do so, you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.

For more information on data protection in connection with Google Analytics, please refer to the Google Analytics Help.
